INfluences

I am deeply grateful to the wise therapists and mentors who have influenced my work in profound ways.

Most of my post graduate training has taken place at The Upledger Institute, founded by the late Dr. John Upledger, who largely developed the CranioSacral Therapy technique and brought this beautiful way of working with the body to the West.

My role model, mentor and great friend Susan Underwood, PT and I share the same passion for CST. Susan helped me to trust myself and my embodied wisdom. I feel blessed to have had the chance to work in her clinic for nine wonderful years.

In the realm of Somatic Psychology, I have been greatly influenced by the ground-breaking trauma resolution work of Peter Levine, who developed Somatic Experiencing, as well as others who have built upon his work.

And finally, deep gratitude to my spiritual teacher, Jeannie Zandi. Jeannie has helped me in countless ways on my continuous spiritual path: realizing my divine nature and embracing my full humanity. Her teaching and example have enabled me to help others discover what she has helped me see and embrace in myself.
